We had a rare warm day in March here in Connecticut and we headed to the beach on a whim with my favorite Connecticut pillows. A spur of the moment photo shoot! My Etsy friend Scott Van Osdol from My Salvaged Past sketched the iconic New London Lighthouse on a vintage Connecticut map using art pencils.  He is an amazing multi media artist and he very kindly gave me permission to use  several of his images on my pillows.  My other Etsy friend Dennis, from Ropework by Dennis, who is 90+ years young and a retired merchant marine sailor hand ties all of our rope buttons we use on our pleated pillows.  The talent you can find here on Etsy is mind boggling....we are such a blessed community of makers and I am grateful to be part of it!
